The capital’s only full-sand golf 6,724 yard par 71 course with top-of-the range teaching technology. The academy has two teaching professionals, a club repair and fitting centre, a 30-bay floodlit grass driving range, indoor video facilities along with grass and sand practice putting and chipping areas. Other facilities include a floodlit grass pitch for rugby, football, tennis courts and a gym.

The Abu Dhabi Ice Rink has an Olympic-size rink with French café, arcade entertainment, pro skate shop, music shop and children’s area. Lessons are available. If you fancy trying your hand at ice hockey, the Abu Dhabi Falcons is a highly successful club with more than 80 players. Players meet for practices on weekday evenings.
