A Glimpse to 7 Star Luxury
The World has witnessed many magnificent and splendid projects in Abu Dhabi, but Emirates Palace Hotel holds an incredible recognition in the world of luxury and hospitality. The idea of this project was conceived by HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 2001, in consideration of the main agenda to host GCC Conference there. The palace covers the area of approximately 270,000 sq meters and without any doubt is one of the iconic buildings in the world. According to many, Emirates Palace is 2nd most expensive hotel ever built. Officially it falls into a 5-star category but facilities and luxury provided by the hotel place it as a ‘7 Star’ Hotel!
In 2015, Institutional Investor, USA had voted Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi as the World’s Best Hotel. People like to call it a Palace instead of Hotel. The hotel employs 20,000 staff, with an average of 4 staff members for every guest. The infrastructure of the palace consists of 2 helicopter helipads, a marina, 20 places to eat, 2 food courts and a swimming pool. It’s got 394 rooms and suites, ranging from 55 sq. meters to 680 sq. metres. To make it green and luscious, 8,000 trees are planted in a beautifully landscaped and manicured garden. They pamper their guests with exceptional spa services and professionally trained therapists. Palace owns 1.3 Kms private beach with countless water sports.
The ALE Mobile Guest Softphone solution connects guests with hotel facilities via their smartphone, as-well-as access to free in-hotel voice communications. Guests' devices automatically become part of the hotel telephony system and are associated with rooms with a simple QR code scan. Technology permits guests to connect their outside call at standard hotel rates, instead of roaming charges.
