The Future of Sustainable Real Estate
As investment in the property sector of the emerging markets increases, so nature and the resources it can supply are placed under further stress. Planners and developers need not only to reduce the resource consumption of new and existing cities but at the same time to make them more resilient in the face of climate change, healthier, and more productive places to live and work. In short, they need to become sustainable.
The demands of investors, governments and tenants for sustainability continue to gather momentum as they shape the schemes of real estate companies worldwide. The 2nd International Conference on Investment in Sustainable Real Estate will review the progress of the real estate and construction industries in implementing sustainable practices and forecast forthcoming developments.
The Emergent Markets Investment Summit (EMIS) will be held in Abu Dhabi on 4th - 5th March 2015 and will gather leading figures from the real estate industry, the public sector, and research organizations to generate ideas for a consistent vision and collaborative pathway towards the future of sustainable real estate.
