Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship 2013
The ‘Giants of Golf’ is set to return to the capital on 17-20 January 2013 at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
There will be a fantastic range of attractions, prizes, games, competitions, live performances and family-friendly fun at the Championship Village.
Visitors can get a chance to test and hone their swing and putting techniques in the HSBC Interactive Zone, while non-golfers can spend time in the creative area of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship 2013.
The two best golfers on the planet , Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, will be the headline acts on this sports event.
Woods, the world No 2, said that he was returning to the capital after his debut last year, and Mcllroy, the two-time runner-up, is coming back as the world No 1 in the US$2.7 million (Dh9.9m) event from January 17 to 20.
Championship tickets are AED 50 (US$13.6) for a daily pass and AED 150 (US$40.8) for a four-day pass. The first - ‘Dress in Red Day’ will see any visitor sporting red in their outfit - enter for free. Emirates Golf Federation members and children under-18 – when accompanied by an adult – will enter free of charge. HSBC customers simply present their cards for free entry with Premier card holders redeeming two daily tickets and regular card holders claiming one daily ticket.
