Imagenation abu dhabi is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media Company that will develop, finance and produce full length feature films and digital content for Arabic and international markets. The company launched on September 3, 2008.
From its operating base in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, imagenation abu dhabi will establish partnerships with high-profile, internationally-based producers to develop and produce content for distribution globally. It will also support Middle East filmmakers and Arabian film production.
An annual target output of eight films will position imagenation abu dhabi as one of the world’s leading feature film producers and establish Abu Dhabi as a leading centre for content creation.
Mohamed Khalaf Al-Mazrouei is the chairman of imagenation abu dhabi; Edward Borgerding is the Chief Executive Officer and Stefan Brunner is the Chief Financial Officer.
