Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) presented the final details of the conference programme of Air Expo, the region’s first exhibition dedicated to general aviation, which commences this Tuesday 6th March at Al Bateen Executive Airport. Air Expo will bring together experts in the field of aviation to showcase the latest technology in aviation and discuss industry related issues.
As part of the event programme, a series of conferences will take place to tackle subjects in the field of General Aviation including:
• Facilitating general aviation- airport access, open airspace, challenges in regulation, impact on economy
• General aviation development-Flight Safety and Training
• Helicopter in modern society, urban helicopter transport, helicopter
• The Future of aviation- fuel, alternative engines
• Round Table: The importance of involving youth in aviation, aviation careers, conference ownership, insurance, & asset management

All conferences will be held at the Gulf Centre of Aviation Studies (GCAS) very close to the exhibition at Al Bateen Executive Airport. A list of esteemed speakers will be holding these conferences including officials from ADAC, GCAS, Air Navigation Systems, GCAA, UAE Armed Forces, Fujairah Aviation Academy, Falcon Aviation Services, GAL, as well as representatives from Eurocopter, Aviation et Pilote France, Aircraft Owner and Pilot Associations (AOPA), Silkorsky, Max Plank Institute of Technology, and SAC Swiss Aviation Consultants GmbH.
