Bawadi Mall, the largest mall in Al Ain city, organized a fashion show in which selected global brands showcased their latest collections at the main atrium of the mall.
The spectators were treated to a visual extravaganza of fashion in four sessions in the evenings twice a week.
Khalid Shraim, Senior Marketing Manager, Bawadi Mall said: “The show timings were carefully selected to entertain the largest number of shoppers during weekends. The Live fashion shows were highly successful, as reflected in increased business, especially in garments.”
The brands that participated in the fashion show included Bossini, Huraibi, Beenas, Giordano, Style Studio, Bhs, Nautica, Gant, Louzan, Hanayen, Al Motahajiba, Geelato, Mine, Al Juaidi, Parma Moda, Alice, Anotah, Promod, Zara, Stradivarius, Max, Marks & Spenser, New Look and Koton.
In addition, “Girl Scouts – Al Ain Troop 42236”, a group of girls from Al Ain English Speaking School (AAESS) participated in the event to highlight their green project entitled “The Beauty of Recycling.”
The Al Ain Girl Scouts is a secular Girl Scouts group open to girls of any nationality. The group is registered members of USA Girl Scouts Overseas and of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. As of November 2010, the group consists of 83 members covering all age groups from over 12 nationalities.
Girl Scouts is the largest girl-serving organization in the United States, dedicated to building courage, confidence and character of girls. The organization has 885,000 volunteers work with 2.3 million girls, ages 5 to 18, working in developing life skills in financial literacy, healthy living, STEM, and online safety. Each year, Girl Scouts provided over 75 million hours of direct service to their communities.
