As part of Abu Dhabi Airports Company’s (ADAC) commitment to delivering high quality convenient services to its customers,ADACannounced today the launch of another new self-service check-in kiosk in Abu Dhabi. The service has been introduced at the Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi Yas Island Hotel, the only kiosk of its kind on Yas Island.
The exclusive self-service kiosks offer passengers the opportunity to check-in to their flight, print their boarding passes and tag their bags before leaving the hotel lobby. When the check in process is complete, the passengers then take their bags to the baggage drop desk at the airport, and go straight to passport control.
Commenting on the introduction of this new service, Harib Al Hameli, VP Operations of Abu Dhabi International Airport, said:
“ADAC is committed to delivering high quality experiences for passengers and continuously strives to deliver new initiatives and state of the art facilities ensuring the highest level of service and standards. The self-service kiosks in hotels across the city allow passengers to manage their own travel plans conveniently and easily, giving them maximum time to enjoy the city and minimising queues at the airport. Our existing kiosks have been very popular, and the full check-in service at ADNEC, along with the facility in the city, continues to offerinnovativeservices.”
“With the Formula 1 2012 season approaching, we expect this new addition to our off-site facilities on Yas Island to continue in the delivery of easier and stress free travel experiencesfor more Abu Dhabi International Airporttravellers,” added Al Hameli.
Mr. Thierry Perrot, Area General Manager of Crowne Plaza and Staybridge SuitesAbu Dhabi Yas Island, added: “It is a great honour to be working alongside ADAC on thissmart, time saving service for our guests. At Crowne Plaza, we take great pleasure in delivering new techniques and premium services to our guests that differentiate the hotel from others in the area, and we expect this service to be very popular.”
This new check-in service is the 4th remote check-in facility launched by ADAC for Abu Dhabi International Airport. The new facility became available in the Middle East last year, when it was introduced as a first of its kind in a hotel at the Park RotanaHotel in Abu Dhabi.
