Khalifa University will host interested high school and university students and their parents at its annual Open Day being held at its Abu Dhabi and Sharjah campuses on Tuesday.
Potential students will be given the opportunity to learn about Khalifa University’s undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as, view the campuses and their facilities, meet current students, faculty and staff, and learn about student life and scholarship opportunities.
"We are very pleased to invite potential students to our Open Day, " said Dr. Mohammed Al Mualla, Khalifa University’s Senior Vice President for Research and Development and Interim Provost. "Our Open Day will provide students with an excellent opportunity to learn what life is like as a Khalifa University student. It will give them the chance to explore our programs, talk to our current students and faculty, and generally, get an overall impression of what their college career could be like." Khalifa University offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including Bachelor of Sciences in Aerospace, Mechanical, Biomedical, Communication, Computer, Electronic, Software, Industrial and Systems Engineering and a planned program in Civil Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering. This is in addition to Masters and Doctorate programs in Electronics, Communication and Computer Engineering, Masters of Science in Information Security and Nuclear Engineering, and a Master of Arts in International and Civil Security.
Dr. Al Mualla added: "The Open Day will really showcase Khalifa University’s commitment to serving Abu Dhabi’s 2030 vision, by providing Abu Dhabi, the UAE and the region with unique programs and state of the art facilities that will help to mold and shape the future generation of industry and society leaders." Khalifa University recently hosted industry and academic leaders at a special Information Day on its graduate programs. Senior Representatives from Du, Etisalat, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) all attended the event which was held at Khalifa University’s Abu Dhabi Campus.
