Residents of the Mangrove Village will be joining local and international efforts to save energy during Earth Hour on 31 March 2012 at 8.30pm. They will be switching off their lights at their villas and joining the rest of the families at the swimming pool area to participate in a series of activities that promotes environment conservation.
The function is organised by Landlord Al Ain Properties in cooperation with the premises Property Manager, First Gulf Properties.
The event program includes amongst others, an Earth Hour event countdown and a screening of the official video clip on Earth Hour 2012. Children will also take part in forming the number “60” with candles on the sandy beach.
Mr. Abdul Aziz Hussain, CEO of Al Ain Properties, said: “Al Ain Properties’ goal is to spread awareness among its tenants by participating in this event; Mangrove Village is a start point; The same will be held for all the properties in the upcoming years. ”
For his part, Jassim Al Ali, CEO of FGP, said: "Our participation falls in line with Al Ain Property’s contribution, reflecting our continuous endeavor to preserve the environment and to promote public awareness of ecological dangers.
