Early Bird Ticket To Broaden Access To The Abu Dhabi Festival
(23 January 2012)
Early Bird Offer To Run Until 31st January

Celebrating its ninth edition in 2012, the Abu Dhabi Festival is offering an ‘Early Bird’ discount on tickets purchased before the 31st January 2012. The offer will enable Festival-goers to avail of a 25% discount on tickets across the entire programme.

Organised by Abu Dhabi Music & Art Foundation (ADMAF), the Abu Dhabi Festival is amongst the highlights of Abu Dhabi’s cultural calendar.

Speaking about the 2012 ticketing strategy, the Festival’s Founder and Artistic Director, Her Excellency Mrs. Hoda I Al Khamis Kanoo, said: “Abu Dhabi Festival is the Festival of the people of Abu Dhabi. Tickets for the Festival are always popular but this Early Bird ticket promotion is a testament to our continued commitment to ensuring that the Festival is accessible to as many people as possible.”

In line with the Festival’s dedication to inspiring the next generation of cultural leaders, tickets for A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Globe Education at Shakespeare’s Globe are priced at 50 AED. Bayt Al Farabi, a specially developed programme of performances and lectures that will explore the legacy of Abu Nasr Muhammad Al Farabi, the renowned scientist, musician and philosopher, are also priced at 50 AED.

As education continues to lie at the heart of the 2012 Abu Dhabi Festival students will be able to avail a special student rate of 50% off on production of a valid student ID card.

There are three ways to purchase tickets, which went on sale to the public last week: online at www.timeouttickets.com/abudhabifestival; through the Abu Dhabi Festival ticket hotline number +971 50 9076158 and in person at the Emirates Palace Box Office.
