American Express Middle East Offers Residents More Than 250 Opportunities To Experience More Of The UAE

• ‘Experience UAE’ launched in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority
• American Express Cardmembers can access specially selected offers at a wide range of UAE hotels, restaurants and retailers

American Express Middle East announced the launch of its ‘Experience UAE’ campaign. The campaign, in association with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, means that American Express Cardmembers in the UAE can take advantage of a huge range of specially selected offers simply by using their American Express Cards.

Until March 2012, American Express Cardmembers can receive hundreds of benefits such as a 40 per cent discount with National Car Rental on daily and weekly rates, as well as special monthly rates, 15 per cent savings at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts when staying two nights or more, 15 per cent off at Jumeirah’s signature Talise spas, 20 per cent off dining at Starwood Hotels and Resorts restaurants, as well as up to 10 per cent discounts on brands such as Samsung, Hitachi, Sonos, Linksys by Cisco from Eros Group and much more.

What’s more, Cardmembers can take advantage of a 25 per cent discount with Gulf Air on selected flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi when organising visits to the UAE for friends or family.

“This campaign is a great example of the everyday rewards we are able to provide American Express Cardmembers here in the UAE,” said Deepak Jain, VP - Merchant Business and Strategic Partnerships, American Express Middle East. “With hundreds of great hotel, travel and restaurant offers, this campaign allows American Express Cardmembers to create a fantastic short getaway within the UAE and, perhaps, experience the country as never before”.

The ‘Experience UAE’ campaign is also anticipated to increase in-bound tourism by appealing to overseas leisure and business travellers. American Express Cardmembers visiting the UAE can also use their American Express Cards to take advantage of the campaign offers.

The campaign is expected to help boost spending at American Express Middle East’s merchant partners in the UAE. Jain added: “It is thanks to our extremely strong merchant relationships that we’ve been able to provide a wealth of valuable and exclusive offers in the UAE. In return, our merchant partners can look forward to welcoming our loyal, high-spending Cardmembers.”
