’Homestyle Show 2011’ To Spark Interest Across Abu Dhabi Residents And Homeowners
(23 November 2011)
Exciting Three-Day Event At ADNEC From November 24th To 26th Complements UAE’s Expected USD 1.2 Billion Spend On Luxury Interior Design For 2011

‘HomeStyle Show 2011,’ a first-of-its-kind interiors and lifestyle exhibition in the UAE, is expected to spark interest across residents and homeowners in Abu Dhabi over the course of its three-day run from November 24, 2011 until November 26, 2011, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC). The event, which is being held at ADNEC’s Hall 9, will feature the latest trends and innovations in interiors and life style. The launch of ‘HomeStyle Show 2011’ complements a recent report released by Ventures Middle East, a leading business research and consultancy firm, showing that the UAE’s luxury interior design spending for 2011 is expected to reach USD 1.2 billion.

The exciting three-day event will see the participation of international exhibitors like Robox, Collector Jewellery Boxes, ART PRO International Companies, Good Wood, CV Property, CV Arava, Lawas, LIO, ALMI, ANJANA and Gradasi Indonesian Craft. ‘HomeStyle Show 2011’ will feature an extensive range of luxury home interior products, which includes furniture, home accessories, textiles and beddings, kitchen appliances, medical and patient care supplies, fireplaces and accessories, household appliances, jewellery boxes, garden accessories, lightings, mirrors and general items for outdoor and indoor living. The event is opened to the general public with timings from 15:00 PM to 12:00 AM daily.

According to the organizers of the event, ‘HomeStyle Show 2011’ is being presented as a strategic complement for the country’s thriving consumer segment. Organizers have shared that as a result of the recent economic downturn, consumers today have demonstrated a newfound wisdom of being more aware of the products they purchase, with choices based on quality and price range. In line with this, ‘HomeStyle Show 2011’ will act as a strategic venue that will allow exhibitors to showcase the latest in luxury home interior products.

The Ventures Middle East report reveals that the country’s increase in spending complements the expected total interior design and fit out spending of USD 8.6 billion for the GCC, reflecting a 69 per cent increase from 2010’s recorded spending. The UAE leads GCC countries with a market share of 54 per cent and is followed by Saudi Arabia with 28 per cent. The increased spending demonstrates the growing demand for key interior design products and services across major infrastructure and construction projects in the region. The increase in spending will include key products like walling, doors, cladding, canopy & skylights, signage, lighting and furniture across major projects underway or already in completion stages in the UAE. Aside from the surge in spending, the UAE will also be seeing an increase in interior design services, with over USD 14.6 billion in new contracts.
