Dressed in comfortable sports and casual wear, a huge crowd gathered at the Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi on Friday, 18 November, to gamely participate in Get Fit, a program designed to promote a healthier way of life in the spirit of family well-being, community health and camaraderie. With an estimated 5,000 attendees, Get Fit was a huge success, playing host to both UAE Nationals (35 percent) and expats of various nationalities (65 percent).

This year’s event saw more young children participating (60 percent). The huge turnout is attributed to the program’s wide array of exciting activities for all ages, including more than 20 sports events, healthier lifestyle tips, and raffle draws, among many others. Get Fit encouraged people to share the experience with family and loved ones to strengthen bonds and share health values to young children.
