Grand Millennium Al Wahda Becomes Children’s Favourite With Launch Of Kids Club ’Wonderland’
(14 November 2011)

On 15 November, Grand Millennium Al Wahda will be opening its kids club, ‘Wonderland’, a safe and secure indoor playground facility to support busy parents and thrill children with a range of toys, games and activities. Kids between the ages of three and nine can get creative with drawing pads and watercolours, have a giggle at popular cartoons, or pull up a cushion and let their imaginations run wild at story time.

Parents can drop their children off for a maximum of three hours for only AED 50, with 20% of the proceeds being donated to UNICEF.

Open seven days per week all year round from 9am to 9pm, the club has two professional attendants offering friendly hands-on supervision at all times. Wonderland is filled to the brim with exciting activities for children, with both fun and educational games. From the moment they step into the club they are transported to an exciting activity-filled zone with a variety of stimuli to keep them engaged. The club also features a separate sleeping room for some quiet nap time for played-out kids.

Wonderland is open to guests and visitors alike so parents indulging in spa treatments at the hotel’s luxurious Zayna Spa or exercising in the state-of-the-art Al Wahda Health Club can drop children off while they enjoy some grown up ‘me-time’. The safety of the children is an utmost priority so a maximum of ten children are allowed at any one time in the playroom and only for a maximum of three hours.

Michael Sorgenfrey, General Manager of Grand Millennium Al Wahda said:

“For busy parents, getting some valued ‘me-time’ is the ultimate luxury, and that’s what we want to give to our guests whilst reassuring them their kids are in safe hands. Although our kids club, ‘Wonderland’, provides a fun and educational afternoon for the children, we have taken every precaution when it comes to their safety and security, with trained attendants supervising the kids at all times.”

The kids club is equipped with a CCTV camera system for parents’ absolute peace of mind and is also available for private bookings. Grand Millennium Al Wahda has a special children’s menu, available in all the hotel’s outlets, from which kids can order if they are feeling peckish. Additionally, kids are able to make free of charge use of the health club’s children’s swimming pool, which is supervised by a trained lifeguard. Personal nannies are allowed to stay in the kids club if they are accompanying children.
