Following this session, seven-time F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher and fellow Mercedes GP Petronas driver, Nico Rosberg, will be signing autographs from 3-3:20pm.
“We cannot wait to open the gates for this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the Pit Lane Walk is a great way to kick-off the festivities at the circuit,” said Mark Hughes, Director of Operations at Yas Marina Circuit. “The pit walk gives race-goers the chance to see how much work goes into preparing the cars. And, it is far from every day that you get the opportunity to meet such legends as Schumacher and Alonso.”
