November Continues Strong Events Season For ADNEC

Following a strong start to the events season, ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre) is host venue for 12 major events this month.

The three-day Dentistry Middle East Exhibition and Conference 2011 which ends today, will be followed by a concert by Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan later this evening at ADNEC’s Abu Dhabi Hall. Following the Eid Al Adha break next week, the Middle East Manufacturing Exhibition, the National Show for Society Awareness and Humanitarian Services (Taweya) and the Signage, Imaging & Media Show (SIM) will take place on 14 – 16 November.

From 18-20 November, ADNEC will also host The 8th World Robot Olympiad UAE, an annual event of school robotics competitions. Offering participants interesting challenges and an opportunity to explore, learn and share new trends in robotics technology, this event comes to the region for the very first time. ADNEC will also host the Abu Dhabi Science Festival on 18 - 26 November.

Leading food and hospitality events will come to ADNEC later this month, including Gulf a la Carte and SIAL Middle East, both held 21- 23 November, as well as the 5th International Date Palm Festival on 21 – 26 November. Other events include HomeStyle on the 24 – 26 November and Health & Fitness Funday on the 26 – 27 November.

Airport Exchange is the Airports Council International (ACI) Europe and Asia-Pacific’s largest meeting and the premier airport industry event. Airport Exchange 2011 will bring to Abu Dhabi more than 1,500 senior aviation professionals to share expertise and strategies for success. The event, which is being held in the region for the very first time, will take place 28–30 November.

The numerous events coming to ADNEC in November are expected to attract thousands of local and international visitors, contributing to the growing business tourism sector in Abu Dhabi, which currently accounts for 72 per cent of visitors to the UAE capital.
