Zayed Sports City (ZSC) calls on Abu Dhabi residents to take part in “Get Fit”, an initiative created to promote a healthier way of life. Slated on Friday 18 November, from 3:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m at Zayed Sports City, the event aims to encourage people to embrace a more physically active lifestyle or to take up sports.

Get Fit promises to be a day of fun for adults and kids alike. Training, coaching, seminars and demonstrations by top Abu Dhabi sporting federations, associations and clubs will be offered to the public free of charge. All facilities in the sports complex will also be free. Little ones can enjoy bouncy castles, Zorb balls, cartoon character appearances, face painting, balloon making clowns, and cooking classes, among others.

“Offering a host of benefits for people, Get Fit is not only a venue to learn more about a healthier lifestyle, it also offers an opportunity to get helpful eating tips, as well as create awareness regarding new sports and new sporting organizations.” Said, Maria Gedeon, Director of Marketing at Zayed Sports City.

“The one-day event is packed full of activities for all ages, abilities and personalities—from juniors to veterans, amateurs to pros, and slackers to sports fanatics. Raffle draws for WWE and Enchanted Forest ON ICE tickets, iPods, vouchers, 4,000 AED voucher to travel anywhere, courtesy of Al Jaber Travel and a lot more will be one of the event highlights,” she added.
