After the successful mobilization of staff and services for 17 sites of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) in Abu Dhabi, Khidmah will now provide Total Facilities Management (TFM) services to 5 additional sites in Al Ain.

The Abu Dhabi General Services Company, "Musanada" awarded three years contract with more than AED 21 million to Khidmah following a highly competitive tendering process.

These heritage sites, which include the Al Ain National Museum, Jahili Fort, Qattara Art Community Centre, Qar Al Muwaiji and Al Ain Palace Museum, are of cultural significance to the history of the UAE. Historic structures are usually made of unique sensitive materials and need extraordinary treatment. Specialized sets of skills and knowledge are vital to provide services to these sites with Khidmah demonstrating the necessary expertise and fully equipped resources to service to these sites.

Abdulla Al Qamzi, Managing Director of Khidmah, said: "These sites are part of the cultural heritage of the UAE and Khidmah is honored to contribute in the conservation and maintenance of these historical sites by offering its services. Achievement of this contract highlights our ability to deliver great value through a unique combination of good quality services and competitive prices." The scope of this contract is to manage and deliver TFM which include MEP services, Civil Maintenance, Landscaping services, Cleaning, Pest control, Security Services along with hospitality services. Starting December 2011, over the period of 3 years, Khidmah will mobilize 96 staff and workers and deliver these services to the client. Security service will also be provided through an outsourced specialized company.
