The sixth annual MEED Abu Dhabi Conference 2011, supported by the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, will have special focus on investment opportunities in the Western Region, event organiser MEED announced today. As part of the conference, attendees will be able to attend a dedicated masterclass that will discuss the masterplans, major achievements and ongoing projects within the Western Region Theconference is scheduled to be held at The Beach Rotana, Abu Dhabi, from November 14-17, 2011.
In another demonstration of its ability to gather an unmatched mix of industry thought leaders year after year, the 2011 edition will see high-profile representatives from government, transportation, real estate, utilities, renewable energy, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, education and oil & gas sectors. Key speakers and panellists at this year’s conference include senior executives from MASDAR, Takreer, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, Health Authority – Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, Etihad Rail, Abu Dhabi Ports Company, Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company, Aldar, EMAL, and Western Region Development Council.
