In keeping with the ‘Powering Learning’ theme of BETT 2012, Maths-Whizz, the online suite of services that guarantees raised standards in numeracy for 5 to 13 year-olds, is encouraging visitors to ‘power happiness in numbers’. The award-winning system is renowned for its ability to create excellent learning outcomes by building confidence and encouraging linked learning at home and in schools.

Earlier this year the Pisa Study, carried out over 65 countries by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), revealed that the UK is slipping down the world education ranking in maths, and has been overtaken by Poland and Norway.

Faced with this disheartening trend, Maths-Whizz is more determined than ever to encourage happiness in numbers and support a reversal.
