Abu Dhabi will host 53rd meeting of the Committee of Governors of Monetary Agencies and Central Banks of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) next Friday.
The meeting will discuss various issues related to monetary and central banks in addition to the recommendations of the committees concerned with the banking system supervision and control along with payment systems and web development for the Gulf ATM.
Participants will also discuss the recommendations of the first meeting of the Working Group concerned with preparing and participating in meetings and dialogues of mutual cooperation with the European Union, other States and other economic groups on economic, financial and monetary cooperation and recommendations of the first meeting of the Task Force for countering terrorist financing and money laundering.
