Jordan’s former Prime Minister, Dr. Abdul Salam Majali, will deliver a speech on leadership in higher education at ALHOSN University’s American Corner today (Tuesday, October 4th, 2011) from 5 to 6 pm. Dr. Majali will also answer questions from the audience and subsequently be treated to a reception in his honor.
Dr. Majali is currently visiting Abu Dhabi as the keynote speaker for the Annual Conference on Education being organized by the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research from October 3 to 4, 2011. Aside from being Jordan’s past PM, Dr. Majali also served as President of the University of Jordan, Minister of Education, President of the Higher Council of Higher Education, Minister of Health, and Prime Minister of Jordan. He also spearheaded the establishment of a unique leadership academy in Jordan in cooperation with the United Nations University.
