National Media Council (NMC) and the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs discussed cooperation in the areas of common interest between the two sides.

This was revealed during the visit paid to NMC by Rashid Al Hagiri, head of the information and public relations and Alaa Al Arnaouti, information coordinator at the organisation.

Al Hagiri briefed the NMC officials about the objective of organisation and support it required from different institutions to help sponsor a category of special needs in the community.

For his part, Jamal Al Suwaider, Executive Director of Emirates News Agency (WAM) and External Media, stressed preparedness of the NMC upon the directives by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the NMC to offer support to all the societal institutions, including the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, to help incorporate this category into society, and benefit from their potential energies in service of the country.
