Yasalam, the largest city-wide entertainment program ever seen by any F1™ host city; returns to the Capital for the third year jam-packed with fun and exciting new events a multitude of family activities, and the chance to experience all the glitz and glamour of the superstar acts preparing to perform in Abu Dhabi.
Yasalam is fast becoming the most electrifying city-wide entertainment program the region has ever staged. Almost one million people have been through Yasalam events’ doors since the unique program launched in 2009.The program offers families an engaging, fun-filled, safe, and accessible variety of city-wide entertainment experiences and activities tailored to appeal to our diverse community and visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

Today, FLASH Entertainment revealed that Yas Island would come alive for three thrilling nights of performances at the YAS Arena from pop princess Britney Spears on Friday November 11th, American rock band Incubus with British hard rock band The Cult on Saturday November 12th, while on the final night F1™ Race-goers will find themselves in the presence of music royalty, when former Beatles’ member; Sir Paul McCartney takes his fans on a trip down memory lane. Sir Paul McCartney, a living legend in music has created hysteria all over the world amongst fans, and fans that have been supporting him since the start of his music career. He will perform his first ever show in the UAE, wrapping up Yasalam on Sunday November 13th.
Off the island, the Abu Dhabi Corniche Beach concerts will feature superstar performances from Lebanese icon Najwa Karam, Saber Al Robai, British R’n’B sensation Jay Sean, Wyclef Jean, K-Pop artists Seo in Young, Nine Muses, and many others lined up to rock the bustling beach party during Yasalam.
Shatha Al Romaithi, FLASH Entertainment spokesperson, today announced that Yasalam 2011 was revealing some exciting new additions to the program including TROPFEST Arabia and Cut&Paste Abu Dhabi, while the popular ‘Cinema by the Sea’ will feature the UAE’s first public screening of the documentary sweeping the racing world; Senna.

Yasalam is based on three pillars; Live Across the City, Live on the Corniche and Live on Yas Island, bringing a mix of sport, film, music and community events to residents and visitors in Abu Dhabi.
