Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a top-tier Islamic financial services group, announced today that the grand prize of AED 2 Million at the seventh Ghina Savings Account promotion was won by nine and a half year old Emirati, Rashid Saeed Al Rumaihi. Another ADIB client, Hana Abdul Menam, won the AED 500,000 prize while 10 other lucky winners won AED 10,000 each. A total of AED 2.6 million was won by ADIB customers at the draw.
Till date, cash awards totaling AED 22.6 million have been disbursed to 409 ADIB clients who have invested in the program since inception in 2009. After the draw, held at ADIB headquarters in the presence of representatives from the Abu Dhabi Department, ADIB contacted the winners and informed them of their prizes.
“We could have possibly seen the youngest raffle draw winner in the UAE ever as our Ghina Savings Account promotion helps grow customer numbers rapidly. They are attracted to earn enhanced returns on their savings through a Shari’a compliant savings account and an opportunity to win our draw every three months.
