The exhibitors of the ninth edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX- Abu Dhabi 2011) have confirmed the importance of the show for their business as it is the largest event of its kind in the region, and it presents significant regional and international networking opportunities.
ADIHEX will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Gharbia (the Western Region) in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, President of the Emirates Falconers Club. The Exhibition also enjoys the support of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).
Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Director of ADIHEX and Director of the Communication Department at ADACH, said, "We are very pleased to confirm that more exhibitors than ever before are coming back to ADIHEX. From within the UAE, the GCC, and internationally, the return of a high proportion of exhibitors is confirmation of the show’s enduring popularity and expanding audience. This year’s ADIHEX has grown to more than 31,000 square meters, and the increase in floor space is due not only to more exhibitors, but to those who are coming back. Both emphasize the growing international appeal and importance of the exhibition." The sentiments of Al Qubaisi were confirmed by exhibitors coming back to the show: Raid Yaghi, Managing Director of PREMIER said, "Our presence in ADIHEX has become a yearly tradition, as it is considered to be the only renowned outdoor sports exhibition in the UAE. It is a great opportunity for us to introduce our new products to the whole GCC. ADIHEX has allowed us to position our brand as one of the finest in the UAE market." "We simply have to be at ADIHEX every year. In times like these, and given today’s diversity of competition, no-one is able to create a unique product without promoting it," said Ina Glaesser, Managing Director of German Horse Industry.
A statement from Miniature Arsenal, the Moscow-based makers of full-action replicas of small arms said, "Miniature Arsenal achieved huge sales in last year’s ADIHEX. Thousands of visitors and customers from the trade industry visited the company at the exhibition. That’s why we will present our high quality miniature collector models of firearms at ADIHEX 2011."
