Dalma Mall, the largest shopping and lifestyle destination in Abu Dhabi, has now opened the UAE capital city’s largest cineplex – the 14-screen CineRoyal Cinemas.
The addition of CineRoyal Dalma Mall, offering a total of over 2,200 seats and unprecedented cine-going experiences, underlines the evolution of the mall as the Emirate’s must-visit lifestyle, shopping and leisure destination.
Sprawling over 5,530 square metres, CineRoyal Dalma Mall can be conveniently accessed by residents and visitors to Abu Dhabi with the cinemas directly linked to a mall’s car park with over 7,500 spaces. The cineplex is operated by CineRoyal Cinemas, a subsidiary of Royal Group of Companies, and brings several new additions that will appeal to movie-goers.
Key among these are the introduction of two Platinum Screens assuring the highest standards in personalised service and luxury, and four halls for 3D film screenings. All 14 halls feature state-of-the-art Sony 4K digital projectors, assuring top-notch audio-visual capabilities. The only cinema in Abu Dhabi with certified Dolby audio, the digital screens at CineRoyal Dalma Mall also have advanced JBL speakers.

CineRoyal Dalma Mall has ergonomically designed seats with wide legroom for optimum comfort. The Platinum Screens have dedicated staff to usher movie goers to their seats and take their refreshment orders. The multiplex also has snack concession stands and coffee counters for all movie goers.
Further enhancing the movie-viewing experience, the CineRoyal Dalma Mall will offer “Mums and Bubs” movie mornings with special timings for mothers and babies on Sundays and Tuesdays.
With a focus on service, CineRoyal Dalma Mall has been designed and managed taking into consideration the views and feedback from viewers.
The multiplex will host movie premieres of several upcoming blockbusters, in partnership with movie distributors. It will also offer corporates the option of special screenings, in addition to catering to birthday parties and other private get-togethers.
Dalma Mall currently houses a large Carrefour Hypermarket, Centrepoint, Home Centre, Fun City and Matalan along with a host of specialty stores. Marks and Spencer and Toys R Us are also due to open later this year.
