Municipality of Abu Dhabi City allocates 311 residential land plots at Al Wathba North

In implementation of the grant of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, allocating 1026 residential land plots to citizens in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City (Lands and Real Estate Division) has completed the allocation of 311 residential land plots at Al Wathba - North out of a total 717 land plots allocated to the city of Abu Dhabi.

Ahmed Omran Al Qubaisi, Acting Director of Lands and Real Estate, Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, said: "This grant underlines the keenness of our prudent leadership to provide all means of decent living and stable life for Emirati family, which is privileged by the full attention and care of our wise leadership. Such a grant by the President is a continuation of the drive of giving HH used to bestow upon the peoples of the UAE." Al Qubaisi noted that the Municipality made all preparations for receiving citizens, deploying a specialist work team, and offering more options to entitled beneficiaries by reporting to Customer Service Centers, whether at Municipality’s Head Office or all external municipal centers in order for them to have their transactions smoothly processed.

He further said that immediately after the issuance of the Decree, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City started to receive the identification papers of eligible beneficiaries of the Royal Decree through its centers at Al Salam Street, Al Bateen, Al Shahama, Al Musaffah, Al Wathba, and the Branch of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

"The Municipality received documents proving the details of each citizen whose name was published in the list of beneficiaries of the grant where each citizen was allocated a land plot to build his or her own house ensuring him/her a decent living. "In the allocation process, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City runs an electronic allocation system (eLMS) based on alphabetical order of beneficiaries, and operates programs capable of facilitating procedures and the swift land allocation process to ensure fast construction and utilization.

He added that beneficiaries are required to accompany with them the required documentation upon reporting to the Municipality namely; passport copy, family book copy, ID copy, and property certificate (Abu Dhabi / Al Ain) issued from the six Customer Service Centers spread all over Abu Dhabi city and suburban areas after payment of 100 dirham as service fees. In case of a Royal Order issued in respect of a divorcee or widow and their kids, a paternal declaration and an evidence of being a widow or divorcee has to be produced.

Al Qubaisi called upon Emiratis covered by the Decree who had not received their land plots to report to the Customer Service Centers spread all over Abu Dhabi City in order to complete the land allocation and receipt procedures.
