With their afternoons and evenings dedicated to entertaining the 50,000-plus visitors that have flocked to Summer in Abu Dhabi at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), a quartet of Smurfs took a well-deserved time-out to join Ben10’s Swampfire and Water Hazard at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor theme park.
As speechless Smurfs were left stunned by the amazing power of ‘G-Force’, the Ben10 duo joined in the fun on the tower of speed at the heart of the world’s first Ferrari-branded theme park. The Smurfs also checked in to the park’s Abu Dhabi Visitors Information kiosk, where they distributed promotion leaflets and maps to Kuwaiti tourist, Mohammed Al Shammari, and his two sons, Ahmed, 9, and Ali, 6.
“This is our first visit to Abu Dhabi and a trip to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi was top of our list,” said Mohammed. “The boys really enjoyed the rides and meeting the Smurfs and Ben10 was an added bonus.”
Visitors to Summer in Abu Dhabi at ADNEC, which ends on July 30, can see Ben10 daily at the ‘Ben10 Bootcamp’, while Smurf Village, a 38m-by-22m enclosure divided into 12 specially-created activities areas for children, has proven to be one of the festival’s keynote attractions.
Summer in Abu Dhabi tickets include a ‘Kids Go Free’ offer at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi for children less than 1.5metres. More details can be found at www.summerinabudhabi.ae
