Works to construct a total of 258 new houses for citizens in various parts of UAE will begin soon within the housing initiative launched by His Highness the President.
The committee entrusted to follow-up the execution of the initiative met yesterday at the Presidential Palace under the chairmanship of Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs Ahmed Juma’a Al Zaabi and approved to award contracts for the construction of another 80 houses.
Among them 30 houses will be built in Al-Jeer area in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and 50 in Kalba in the emirate of Sharjah.
These houses have been designed in different models to suit the number of family members and their needs. The construction works are to begin shortly and the houses will be handed over to citizens within a year.
Among the 258 new houses, of which the works are to begin soon, will be built in various areas of the emirates of Umm Al Qaiwain, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah.
