Al Ain Zoo will be entertaining families with children from across the Emirates with its special ‘Family Nights’ starting July 6. Cartoon movies, children’s sports games and a bouncy castle ensure a fun-packed Wednesday night out for the whole family.
For children, a range of ten different sports games will be offered at the zoo including football, golf, volleyball and many more. Cartoon movies will be shown on a 6m x 4.5m wide screen at 8pm in the picnic area next to the train station. For children looking to burn off some extra energy, the bouncy castle will be a favourite attraction. Other activities include face painting, henna, arts & crafts, and fun educational activities.
Saif Aldhaheri, Section Head Guest Relations at the zoo, said;
“A visit to the zoo is all about learning about the animals but also enjoying being active and spending time with families. Sports games and cartoon movies offer something for everyone, and are a great option for families looking for fun evenings out as the summer holidays begin this July.”
The family-tailored activities are scheduled to take place every Wednesday and start at 6pm from July 6 onwards, discontinuing during the holy month of Ramadan, and will return following the Eid holidays. The zoo’s summer opening hours are from 4pm to 10pm. During Ramadan, the zoo will be open from 6pm to 12 midnight.
