ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality value-based education, has announced that the research study conducted by two of its professors – Dr. Somkiat Mansumitrchai and Dr. Candy Chiu – has won an Outstanding Research Award at the 2011 Costa Rica Global Conference on Business and Finance that was organised recently in San Jose, Costa Rica by The Institute for Business and Finance Research.
The winning paper titled ‘Adoption of Internet Banking in UAE: Factors Underlying Adoption Characteristics’ focuses on identifying the characteristics of UAE consumers and their attitudes vis-à-vis internet banking. The article has also been selected for publication in the International Journal of Management and Marketing Research.
