The Automobile and Touring Club of UAE (ATCUAE) welcome the decision of the FIM, Dorna, IRTA & MSMA, in ensuring the sustainable development of the MotoGP World Championship and the importance of protecting the planet for the benefit of future generations.

As the representative of FIM in the UAE, the Automobile and Touring Club of UAE (ATCUAE) supports the implementation of diverse environmental management programmes for the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix with the aim of reducing the ecological footprint in the daily activities and developing a sustainable approach when organising events. The Automobile and Touring Club of UAE (ATCUAE) have FIM trained licensed environmental officials to implement and oversee the FIM Environmental code’s use in their UAE motorcycle and motocross events.

Mohammed Ben Sulayem, ATCUAE President commented, “The Automobile and Touring Club of UAE (ATCUAE)commends the FIM in partnering the relevant stakeholders (media & circuits among others) to develop these programmes”. Moreover, the FIM will ensure the correct application of the FIM Environmental Code and promote awareness initiatives on environmental issues with the cooperation of high profile riders to inspire fans and motorcyclists worldwide to support this endeavour.
