In line with its efforts to drive innovation in its products and services, and optimize rewards for its customers, First Gulf Bank, the leading banking partner of choice in the UAE, recently held its half yearly “Abu Dhabi Credit Card” holders draw. The two lucky winners of the half yearly draw drove away in the latest model Audi R8 Quattro and an Audi Q5, after the handover which was held at Al Nahbooda showroom in Dubai.
The live draw which was held in June 2011, at FGB Headquarters, and was supervised by a representative from the Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi and was attended by the senior management of the bank.
The winner of the Audi R8 will also be traveling to Europe to receive training on how to drive the vehicle. The trip will include return business class tickets and hotel accommodation for two people.
Commenting on the draw, Girish Advani, Head of Credit Cards Business, said, “On behalf of First Gulf Bank, we would like to congratulate our winners. The draws take place on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual basis. During this half yearly draw, 46 cardholders had the chance of winning valuable prizes including an Audi R8 Quattro, Audi Q5, an Italy by Ferrari Tour, marriage and education funds worth AED 95,000, travel packages worth AED 50,000, aerial tours of Abu Dhabi, and limousine rides. The next raffle is scheduled to take place on July 10, 2011.

The winner of the Audi Q5, Samith Fernando, said: “I always dreamt of winning one of FGB’s Abu Dhabi Credit Card draws, and I am very excited to have won the Audi Q5. The “Abu Dhabi Credit Card” is the latest credit card offering from FGB and is available to all UAE residents.
