Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi, a division of Ali & Sons Co. L.L.C., started 2011 on a high-note, as they delivered double-digit results during the first quarter, with sales increasing by 15% compared to last year’s figures.
Wissam Khalil, Brand Manager for Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi, commented, “Quarter one figures are proof of the strong position that Porsche Centre Abu Dhabi holds in the region, extending the family of proud Porsche owners to 7,000 members, with a forecast of more to come. Achieving a 15% increase in sales for the first three months of 2011 is significant in the UAE’s highly competitive market, and is testament to the performance, technical finesse and allure that the brand represents.”
The remarkable figures in the first quarter of 2011 are the result of rigorous marketing and promotional initiatives. The launch of the new Cayenne, that embodies the Porsche’s sport-driving DNA combined with the luxury and performance of an SUV, contributed an impressive 65% to total sales. Other high performing models responsible for the strong numbers this year; Panamera made a 20% contribution, followed by a 15% input from the sales of popular sports models including the Porsche 911, Cayman and Boxster. The Al Ain showroom also contributed a strong 20% towards overall sales.
“In line with our growth, we are opening a new state-of-the-art Porsche showroom and service centre in the Musaffah area with the latter considered one of the largest in the world with the latest in advanced technology to deliver the ultimate Porsche experience,” said Khalil.
“As part of Ali & Sons Co.‘s on-going commitment to position Porsche as the leading choice in its segment, plans are underway to expand the Al Ain showroom and service centre. This, coupled with building a new showroom in downtown Abu Dhabi, shows our dedicated efforts to cater to more clients in the emirate,” concluded Khalil.
