World class sports facility, Zayed Sports City (ZSC), is offering a special promotion for the use of its facilities over the summer. Hosting a large variety of sports activities, including ice skating, bowling, tennis, football, basketball and volleyball, the “Beat the Heat” offer will cover the duration from the June 01, 2011 until the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In line with ZSC’s efforts to provide an ideal summer facilities for families during the summer months, in addition to developing the Emirate and providing more activities to residents and visitors, the promotion will allow participants to engage in a large array of activities for discounted rates.

For the price of AED 50/day for children under 16, AED 100/day for adults and AED 200/day for family (up to 5 members), guests can use most of the ZSC facilities for an unlimited time including: ice skating, bowling, gym, table tennis, billiard, darts, tennis, football, rugby, softball, basketball, volleyball, and netball.

“We constantly aim to provide fun, entertaining, family-friendly activities at Zayed Sports City, which is evident from the different events and initiatives we provide. With Beat the Heat, we wanted to create a place where families could enjoy their time, play and socialize during the summer at affordable rates,” Maria Gedeon, Director of Sales & Marketing at ZSC, said.

Gedeon further elaborated: “The promotion will include a wide range of activities in addition to the opportunity to participate in many sports, ensuring that there is something for every member of the family.”

“Beat the Heat” participants can also enjoy many fun and entertaining activities such as quizzes, karaoke on ice and disco on ice sessions, both of which are held at the ice rink, in addition to being eligible to enter raffle draws for valuable prizes. ZSC will also be offering appearances by popular cartoon characters including Sponge Bob Square Pants, The Chipettes, Kung Fu Panda, and Tom from Tom and Jerry during the promotion period.
