The Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) has won the Gold class category of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) for the oil and gas sector.
Winners of the award were announced on Monday at a spectacular ceremony held at the Emirates Palace, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region presented the prestigious award to ADMA-OPCO Chief Executive Officer Ali Rashid Al Jarwan.
The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, (SKEA), is awarded to companies that have tangibly demonstrated superior organizational excellence through a process of rigorous assessment.
ADMA-OPCO was among 14 organisations in various fields that received the Shaikh Khalifa Excellence Award for following best business practices, after passing through a comprehensive assessment process in line with European standards. The organisations were honoured in the Gold and Silver categories, in addition to appreciation awards.
Commenting on the award, ADMA-OPCO CEO said: “The gold award is a testament to the best practices and sound policies adopted by ADMA-OPCO as well as its exemplary performance at all levels”. “We are extremely honored that ADMA-OPCO has been nominated for this award which is named after our visionary leader, the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.”
He added: “This achievement, which will demand from ADMA more commitment to sustain our journey to excellence, is a result of a combination of elements – team work, collaboration, knowledge, expertise, passion and innovation of talented employees supported by a well-established system that uses the latest technologies and best practices to achieve the company’s objectives in line with international standards.
