Fanr restaurant, the latest exciting addition to Abu Dhabi’s growing culinary scene, has opened its doors to diners. The stylish and relaxed venue is located within Manarat Al Saadiyat, the first cultural institution to open on Saadiyat Island, and offers diners the opportunity to enjoy a day of art and delicious international cuisine.

Fanr’s extensive menu features a unique blend of European, Mediterranean, Indian and traditional Arabic dishes, as well as a range of delicious sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Fanr’s Head Chef, Jihab Bawabejy, winner of the Bronze Award from the Emirates Culinary Guild, is passionate about creating flavorful meals that are healthy, while the restaurant’s 15 members of staff are dedicated to providing excellent and friendly service. Chef Bawabejy specialties include a delicious Tandoori Chicken Salad, tender Moroccan Lamb Shank and full-flavoured Fish Sayadia.

Designed by international architecture firm AEDAS, the venue is the perfect place for those who are seeking to escape the relentless pace of modern life. With seating for 250 diners, guests can choose to sit in the light and airy interior and enjoy the stunning floor to ceiling windows, or to dine al fresco in the traditional Arabian style courtyard. Both dining areas have their own charming design elements – from the water features and atmospheric lighting in the courtyard, to the impressively high ceilings indoors. Fanr can also accommodate special events including weddings, birthdays, and business lunches. With its vibrant atmosphere, delicious blend of international dishes, friendly staff and laid back tempo, it is a great place to gather with family and friends.

Built by Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, Fanr is managed by Troon Golf, the world’s leading luxury brand golf management company.
