The Commission in charge of following up directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for infrastructure development has approved the construction of 110 more villas for UAE citizens in different parts of the country.
By this approval, the number of residential villas the Commission endorsed during a period of three months has reached to 667, taking into account their design, specifications and international standards of sustainability.
The commission has also agreed on the completion work of Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah at a cost of AED 64 million, whereas the construction work at the hospital, which includes three main sections (Cardiology, Cancer and Emergency) is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2012, while the cost of the hospital has reached AED 947 million.
The Committee endorsed the list of supply of medical equipment required by the Ministry of Health for a number of hospitals, medical centers and facilities relevant to the hospital work with a cost of AED 54 Million.
