Etihad Airways has launched an exciting new sales promotion offering special pre-summer fares to 38 of its global destinations from Abu Dhabi, which include one week’s free parking at Abu Dhabi airport.

The “Up, Up and Away” promotional fares are available until Sunday, April 24, with up to 20 per cent off regular fare prices as well as special Etihad Holidays packages. Among the destinations and fares in the promotion are:

• Alexandria from Dhs 805;
• Amman from Dhs 945;
• Beirut from Dhs 865;
• Istanbul from Dhs 1,235;
• Kuala Lumpur from Dhs 2,065;
• Bangkok from Dhs 2,445;
• London from Dhs 2,935;
• Dublin from Dhs 2,945;
• Frankfurt from Dhs 2,965; and
• Geneva from Dhs 3,085

(Prices above are based on return Economy class fares from Abu Dhabi, including applicable surcharges, taxes and fees).

The special fares are expected to attract air travellers from across the UAE, as they include one week of free parking at Abu Dhabi airport during the promotional period.

Mr Al Muhairi added: “Abu Dhabi airport is only 45 minutes from Dubai Marina and is easily accessible from the Northern Emirates and Al Ain. So we anticipate the deals will appeal to air travellers from across the UAE as they can travel quickly and easily with minimal time spent in congested traffic.”

Dubai-based Economy class passengers, not wishing to drive, can check-in at the Etihad office on Sheikh Zayed Road and then use the convenient coach service to Abu Dhabi airport.

First and Business class passengers receive a complimentary limousine transfer from anywhere in the UAE. This is extremely popular given the quick passage through Abu Dhabi airport that guests have when returning home.
