LAVAJET has won a 307 million Dirham contract with Abu Dhabi’s Center of Waste Management to deliver solid waste collection, cleaning and street sweeping, and special services in the City of Abu Dhabi.
LAVAJET is a regional leader in Solid Waste Management Services and a member of the BATCO group.
Abu Dhabi has been making the world take notice of its ambitious projects and for this they needed a heavyweight team to get their waste management up to speed and LAVAJET rose to the challenge and succeeded in the win for Abu Dhabi’s Center of Waste Management contract. This in particular is a very high profile project where the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Center for Waste Management desire to develop a world-class, sustainable waste management system and make Abu Dhabi one of the world’s top 5 cleanest cities.
The contract was signed in the Presence of H.E. Majid Al Mansouri, Managing Director of the Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs who indicated that after LAVAJET took over the waste collection and cleaning services in the City of Al Ain, the City has experienced an impressive change for the better. He stressed the spirit of cooperation and partnership between LAVAJET and the Center and expressed that the contract’s scope of work must not prevent all parties involved from presenting innovative and new technologies to better serve the City.
Mr. Sarkis Azour, Director of LAVAJET in turn thanked H.E. and the Center for the trust in LAVAJET and assured that the direct involvement of the top management of LAVAJET in the Company’s Projects with the Center will continue in order to insure and maintain the highest standards of service. He also expressed the Company’s commitment to provide the highest level of service and introduce new and innovative technologies to better serve the City. He said, “Lavajet is awarded its third contract with the Center for Waste Management-Abu Dhabi and we are honored to win this contract and the confidence of our client to work on this prestigious development.
