The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company PJSC (SEHA) has been awarded the prestigious ‘Excellence Award for the Development of Arab Healthcare Sector’ during the 9th Meeting of the Arab Hospitals Federation in Beirut, Lebanon. The award recognizes SEHA’s substantial efforts in raising standards of excellence in public hospitals in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its active contribution in developing the healthcare sector in the Arab world.
The award was presented to SEHA Chairman Saif Bader Al Qubaisi by Arab Hospital Federation President Dr. Faouzi Adaimi and Dr. Mohammed Jawad Khalifa, Chairman of the Arab Health Minister’s Executive Office in the presence of Carl Stanifer, CEO of SEHA, and top officials from the Arab healthcare sector. The Arab Hospitals Federation meeting was held on the sidelines of the Arab Ministers’ Health Council meeting.
Commenting on this outstanding achievement, Saif Bader Al Qubaisi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) said, “We are honored to receive this prestigious award that recognizes our achievements in the healthcare sector. To be awarded by the Arab Hospitals Federation is but a catalyst to excel and commit ourselves to the highest of standards. We owe it to all SEHA staff who work persistently to deliver best-in-class healthcare services to our customers.”
“This award is far from being a mere badge, or even recognition of accomplished goals; rather, it is a catalyst to seek further milestones and only strengthens our commitment to offering world-class healthcare services to our community,” he added.
The Arab Hospitals Federation chose SEHA following thorough consultations and reviews by the federation’s administrative committee in coordination with Their Excellencies, the Arab health ministers.
Carl Stanifer, Chief Executive Officer of SEHA said: “I would like to take this opportunity and thank the Arab Hospitals Federation for bestowing this honor on SEHA. Also, I would like to dedicate this award to SEHA staff members who staunchly believe that excellence in service delivery is central to our mission of offering international standards of healthcare services to all residents.”
