Emirates Palace will showcase its strengths at the ITB Berlin as part of pavilion of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA).
From 9 to 13 March 2011, the Emirates Palace will use the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show with more than 180,000 visitors, and over 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries, as a B2B-Platform to offer its opulent services and products.
As the whole world tourism industry meets in Berlin, the Abu Dhabi’s leading hotel will be there to market its spring and summer holiday packages with the intent of attracting influx of high-end vacationers and holiday makers to Abu Dhabi.
Janet Abrahams, Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Emirates Palace, said the hotel’s engagement in the ITB Berlin as a prime meeting place, a marketplace, and a driving force behind the entire industry, would contribute to stimulating tourism sector in Abu Dhabi.
She affirmed the vital importance of cooperation with the ADTA, the tourism sector regulator, which is striving to promote Abu Dhabi as a destination of choice in Germany, Europe’s largest outbound tourism market.
’’The Emirates Palace is always keen to communicate and interact with major travel tour operators and agencies to familiarise them with Abu Dhabi’s historic culture, and wealth of fascinating tourism attractions and landmarks,’ she added.
The Emirates Palace team, she said, would hold a series of events and meetings with European and international travel, tourism and hospitality agencies and media partners during the four-day ITB to promote luxury services and products the Emirates Palace offers to global travelers.
"We have a number of special promotions and ITB is the ideal showcase to speak to a global travel audience" she concluded.
During the B2B-Platform for trade visitors, Emirates Palace team will have an excellent opportunity to meet business partners and to do business. For the team, ITB Berlin is the perfect place to learn about new trends, concepts and cooperation possibilities - and to deepen existing business relations and partnerships.
Abu Dhabi will mount its largest ever pavilion at ITB Berlin, with 53 companies from the emirate demonstrating huge expansion of the destination’s tourism proposition.
Abu Dhabi’s product line up at the pavilion is 10 per cent bigger than last year and comprises hotels, transport providers and tour operators.
The powerful promotion comes as Germany ranks fourth in Abu Dhabi’s international hotel guest league with Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) looking to strengthen the destination’s hold on Europe’s biggest outbound market.
