Hot Rod Fuller achieved a new UAE record at the Yas Drag Racing Festival on Friday March 4, hitting a terminal speed of 507.81 km/h in front of a 4,000-strong crowd. He covered the standing-start 1,000 feet (302 metres) in 3.9 seconds in his 8,000-horsepower dragster, to loud applause from the spectators. FIA Top Fuel World Champion, Urs Erbacher, recorded a time of 4.087 seconds and speed of 403 km/h.
