Final preparations are underway at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) as the Gulf’s largest exhibition centre gets ready to stage the World Future Energy Summit 2011, to be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Commenting on the four day event which begins on Monday 17th January, Ali Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, ADNEC Managing Director said, "We are delighted to welcome this 4th edition of World Future Energy Summit being held at ADNEC. In a very short space of time, the summit has become one of the world’s most important events for the sustainable energy sector. It is also very important for Abu Dhabi as it will bring visitors in their many thousands to the UAE capital from all over the world, generating significant economic impact for the local economy and raising the profile of Abu Dhabi internationally.
"Since opening in 2007, ADNEC has invested significantly in the state-or-the-art infrastructure required by today’s global events industry to ensure that ADNEC is regarded as one of the world’s leading venues for exhibitions and conferences. This investment has allowed the events industry in the capital to thrive and led to the birth of events such as WFES".
"I would like to congratulate MASDAR - the WFES host, as well as Reed Exhibitions - the WFES organiser, for their stellar efforts which have led to the phenomenal growth of the summit", he added.
The World Future Energy Summit themed ’enabling future energy solutions’ will run from 17-20 January 2011 and comprises the four day conference, alongside two exhibitions - a World Future Energy Exhibition and World Future Environment Exhibition.
