His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and President of Abu Dhabi University’s Board of Trustees will grace Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) fifth graduation ceremony for the undergraduate and postgraduate students today at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
This year’s students who are receiving their degrees will include 240 undergraduates and 196 postgraduates, among whom 54% are UAE nationals. The number of female graduates this year is 30% higher than in 2009.
The 436 graduates will be an important addition to the ADU Alumni Association. ADU will continue to support the alums in their future careers. With the sustainable growth plans of Abu Dhabi’s government, ADU graduates will have better opportunities to play critical roles in the country’s development.
