Celebrity designer Tony Yaacoub will add sparkle and glamour to The Bride Show Abu Dhabi when he opens the runway fashion shows on 2 February 2011 at 6:00 pm.

Yaacoub is most known for dressing stars like Nancy Ajram, Najwa Karam and Majida El Roumy with luxurious, crystal-studded gowns. His collection of bridal wear and evening gowns are not currently available in UAE storefronts, offering brides-to-be and industry insiders an exclusive chance to buy the dresses that their favourite celebrities love to wear at the Bride Show Abu Dhabi.

Yaacoub remains tight-lipped about the eagerly anticipated 2011 collection, but says he worked from a palette of peach, grey and greige which will be liberally sprinkled with his favourite Swarovski crystals.

“I design for women who love being women. Crystal is one of the finest embellishments as it’s very close to the diamond effect,” Yaacoub commented. “It gives a feeling of glamour and matches the spirit of our dresses.”

Women who love elegant bridal and evening wear can visit The Bride Show Abu Dhabi, celebrating its 10th year, from 2 to 5 February 2011 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The Bride Show Dubai will follow from 30 March to 2 April 2011 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
