On the occasion of UAE’s 39th national day, the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) is holding a number of cultural and artistic events in various locations in Abu Dhabi from December 2-4.

Number of folklore dance groups and singers from UAE and the region will be performing in various places in the capital; Abu Dhabi Cornish, heritage village "Zayed Al Adil", Helton Park, Emirates heritage club "breakwater" , the official park and the family park.

On the other hand, ADACH will take part in UAE embassy in Paris celebrations of the national day. Handcrafters and heritage art performers from ADACH will participate in the event in December 2nd.

In the first day of the celebrations, ADACH is organising a musical show on the love of the country in Abu Dhabi. The show is performed by school students and number of folklore dance groups including Abu Dhabi Folk Dance Group established recently by ADACH. The show expresses love and loyalty to President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and to appreciate the achievements of UAE and the union of the nation established by late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Unique fire works and rich artistic programme is included in ADACH national day celebrations. Top stars from UAE and the Arab World will share the nation’s celebrations.

Authorities, companies and individuals are invited to take part in the carnival parade with Abu Dhabi police musical band and its cavalier group.

On December 3, 4, and 5, Dubai audience will have a chance to enjoy the historical musical play "Zayed and The Dream" at the Palladium auditorium in Dubai Media City.

In Zayed Al Adil heritage village in Abu Dhabi, ADACH is organising number of traditional, artistic and musical events that reflect UAE’s deep rooted heritage. That includes a traditional tent, Puppet Theatre and different activities of the ADACH atelier, Talents Centre and Children library.

Last year, ADACH celebrations of UAE’s 38th national day attracted more than 640 thousand people in the three days celebrations through out the emirate of Abu Dhabi that include Abu Dhabi city, Al Ain and the western region.
