The 18th edition of the International Jewellery and Watch Show (JWS) Abu Dhabi opens today, playing host to some of the biggest names in the global jewellery and watch market. The exhibition, which brings together nearly 150 exhibitors from 20 countries, runs until November 14 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). JWS Abu Dhabi 2010 is organized by Reed Exhibitions in association with the Pearl Revival Committee.
Complimenting and associating participation at JWS 2010, the Peal Revival Committee is organizing the first International Pearl Conference on November 14 at Defense Officers Club, Abu Dhabi.
Key exhibitors at JWS Abu Dhabi 2010 include world-renowned artistic timepiece manufacturer Bonja Group, which will be showcasing its collection in the presence of celebrated contemporary artist Anthony Bonja. The Bonja Group will be presenting its latest line of Bonja timepieces and Anthony Bonja Bridal Sets made of rare precious stones.
Other exhibitors presenting unique collections this year include, MIKIMOTO, one of the world’s most renowned pearl jewellery houses founded by Kokichi Mikimoto in 1893. MIKIMOTO will be showcasing two of its most exquisite and innovative art designs, the “Rose Garden” and the “Flowing Tide.” Also part of the exhibitor contingent this year is acclaimed British jewellery franchise David Morris. David Morris, which has been a benchmark of excellence in fine jewellery for over 45 years, will showcase its premium range of designs representing a lightness of touch that is both modern and classic in feel.
Another introduction to JWS this year is the opportunity for visitors to win nearly AED 100,000 in prizes. All entrance tickets at JWS will be entered into a raffle draw, providing winners with exciting and valuable prizes. The grand prize winner of the draw will receive a branded watch worth AED 20,000. Additionally, a total of 11 gift vouchers from Rotana hotels and two nights’ accommodation from Marriott hotel and a seven nights’ stay in Paris are up for grabs. Visitors also have the opportunity to win valuable prizes offered by exhibitors, including Bonja Group.
In line with its commitment to the community, JWS 2010 will donate part of their tickets sale proceeds this year to the UAE Red Crescent.
